On the left is the several-block former site of Idora Park; its buildings and attractions have been demolished, and streets for the planned residential development have been laid out. Also visible are Woodrow Wilson Junior High School (demolished and rebuilt), Emerson Elementary (demolished and rebuilt), and Oakland Technical High School.
