Description:
Renovation and seismic upgrading of Studio One Art Center (looking south), 365 45th Street, Temescal district, Oakland, Calif. A $10 million renovation of Studio One was funded by Measure DD the Clean Water and Safe Parks city bond measure which passed in 2002 with 80% voter approval. The renovation, begun in 2005, took three years. The facility re-opened in May, 2008.
