The Cozy Cafe, Meeker Drug Co. pharmacy, and a dry cleaners, with offices above, on the northeast corner of Grove Street (present-day Martin Luther King Jr. Way) and 55th Street (looking northeasterly), Temescal district, Oakland, Calif. To the left of the corner building is the Santa Fe Garage, at 5512 Grove Street. Note the crossing of streetcar tracks that run on both Grove Street and 55th Street.
