Oakland, Antioch & Eastern (later consolidated into Sacramento Northern Railway) train on the north side of Lake Temescal (looking westerly), Oakland, Calif. Caption: "Extra 1014 East crosses Lake Temescal early on a 1924 morning. The lake to the right of the bridge was later filled in and the trestle removed. Land to the extreme right is now part of Mountain Blvd. Freeway [Highway 13] to Berkeley and Contra Costa County via the Broadway Tunnel."
